Build Mental Fitness with Positive Intelligence

From self-doubt to self-trust

The Science Behind Why You Keep Getting in Your Own Way

You can be thoughtful, capable, faithful, and deeply committed to growth, and still find yourself caught in the same patterns.

The second-guessing. The pressure to keep proving yourself. The quiet self-criticism that follows you into the morning. The hard conversation where you either shut down, over-explain, or react in a way that does not feel like the person you want to be.

Positive Intelligence gives language and structure to what many people have carried for years.

It helps you understand why those patterns keep showing up, and more importantly, how to meet them with calm, strength, and a clearer sense of who you are.

What Is Positive Intelligence?

Positive Intelligence, often called PQ, is a mental fitness framework developed by Shirzad Chamine. It’s designed to help you recognize the internal patterns that create stress, self-doubt, hesitation, and disconnection.

At the heart of the work is a simple but powerful question:

Why do smart, capable, well-intentioned people sabotage themselves — and what actually changes it?

The answer isn’t usually a lack of intelligence, discipline, faith, or effort. Often, the patterns that once helped you survive, achieve, or stay safe have become the very patterns that now keep you from living with freedom.

Positive Intelligence helps you build the mental fitness to notice those patterns in real time and respond from your strongest, wisest self instead of fear, pressure, old wounds, or habit.

This isn’t simply learning more about yourself.

It’s practicing a new way of being.

The Voices That Have Been Running the Show

Inside each of us are internal patterns that Positive Intelligence calls Saboteurs.

They often begin as forms of protection. At some point, they may have helped you work harder, stay alert, avoid rejection, keep the peace, or maintain control.

But over time, what once protected you can begin to limit you.

You may recognize some of these voices:

The voice that criticizes you, others, and circumstances. It often sounds responsible, but it keeps you in a cycle of pressure and dissatisfaction.

The part of you that keeps pushing, striving, and measuring your worth by what you produce. It may help you succeed, but it rarely lets you rest.

The part of you that says yes when something deeper in you knows the answer is no. It may look like kindness, but it often leaves you disconnected from your own needs and boundaries.

The part of you that processes everything through logic and analysis, while keeping emotion, vulnerability, or spiritual wisdom at a distance.

Through the Positive Intelligence process, you begin to identify the Saboteurs that have shaped your decisions, relationships, leadership, and sense of self.

Then you learn how to interrupt them before they take over.

Saboteurs are automatic mental habits that influence how we think, react, and make decisions.

They can show up as:

• the inner critic that pushes relentlessly
• the hyper-achiever who never feels finished
• the people-pleaser who struggles to set boundaries
• the controller who finds uncertainty uncomfortable
• the perfectionist who fears mistakes

When left unchecked, these patterns can increase stress, limit creativity, and create tension in relationships.

When recognized and managed, they can become sources of strength and clarity.

Taking the Saboteur Assessment is often the first step in building greater awareness.

The Program, With Me as Your Guide

The Positive Intelligence program runs for seven weeks and combines structured app-based daily practice with personalized coaching.

The app gives you the framework, tools, and rhythm.

Our coaching sessions help you apply it to your actual life.

That distinction matters.

We are not simply moving through material together. We are looking at your real pressures, your relationships, your leadership, your faith, your calling, and the patterns that keep showing up when life gets demanding.

Together, we identify where your Saboteurs are most active and begin strengthening the part of you that can respond with wisdom instead of fear.

This is Positive Intelligence as lived transformation, not just another course to complete.
